Yeah I'm thinking it's unlikely that if Trump was involved in shite he would have made that statement to New York Magazine. Of course it was in 2002, 3 years before the first complaints against Epstein arose, so he likely didn't know any better either way.
I assume you're insinuating that Trump was involved in illicit acts with Epstein, and then turns around and makes that statement? Unless you're an idiot, the statement exonerates Trump much more than it condemns him.

For Trump not to make a comment about any of this has me suspicious. I’m not saying he was freaking little girls but I’m sure he knows what was going down on the island. He was friends with all these people before he ran for president.
