Frankly, anyone playing nonstop Christmas music before it's even December deserves to be pistol whipped into a coma, anyway.

quote:

It's about courtship. The woman wants to stay, but she doesn't want to be viewed as being slutty

Exactly. The only questionable line is when she says "Gee, what's in this drink", and that is more of her implying she will just blame it on the drink if people give her shite for having the audacity to staying at a guy's house.

Wow, this is my favorite Xmas song because it brings back good memories of college. I thought the guy in this song pickup lines are pretty smooth. I think I may have tried then out a couple times.

That song basically lays out how shite went down with Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby.

Oh crap. Are they going to ban Elf? I'll fight them if they try to ban or cut Zoey singing Baby It's Cold.

I have never quite understood why this is considered a Christmas song because well before the PC era, it was still a rapey song.

According to the Huffington Post, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a classic Christmas film, is “problematic” and “marginalized reindeer.”

The clip goes on to say Rudolph’s father verbally abuses him in the film and Santa berates Donner for his son’s nose.

Several tweets were shown in the clip that revealed how people felt about the classic holiday film in today’s time.

A now-deleted tweet shown in the clip said, “Yearly reminder that #Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism & homophobia w/ Santa as a bigoted exploitative prick.”

The song sucks in general. I won’t miss it.

The best part of the ban is now hard-arse types will have to listen to it while they watch Roseanne and Last Man Standing.
