SInce I am not a paranoid roid rager or mentally unstable, I would firmly ask what was going on. When the kids said what happened (which they most certainly did), I would have asked if I could help. Especially if I was a LEO.
I have had kids on lawn many times. One time, they were running through X-Mas decorations being teens. Not once did I attack any of them.

I would've been spooked by the gun and blood and strangers. I would've felt the need to secure me and my family's safety before worrying about theirs. Agree to disagree. No biggie.

And then it was on and the cop and the kids got into a vicious Def jam style yo momma throw-down.
Then one of the kids starting dancing and the cop served him right back then the kid felt dissed and had beef so he tries to bow up go the cop with a flinch fist but they cop caught him and then the video started rolling.
Point is that it was the kids fault

I cut through a lot of folks' yards in my younger days on the way to friends houses. I guess I'm glad that there weren't any dumbfricks ready to beat the hell out of a me for it.

Compare the stats to those of other first world countries. Hell compare the stats to Communist China, a country most on here would compare to a police state. The numbers paint a damning picture.
The death of 3,000 people by foreign actors led us into a war that is still being fought, but the death of over 8,000 Americans in less than 2 decades doesn't even turn the eyes of people, all because of a badge.
