veal

And I fricking love veal. I promise you it isn’t fun for a young animal to be seperated from its mother only to be raised for slaughter. But so we care? Not at all. Because we don’t give a shite about cows in our culture

Do we give a shite pigs, which absolutely are smart as shite and smarter than dogs are slaughtered just for their tasty bacon? No, we don’t care about that either.

It’s selective outrage purely based on cultural norms.

Another head scratcher. I can legally set my hog dogs on a boar and watch them fight to the death, but you do it with two dogs and it’s jail time.

Meh. I imagine our definition of torture is a little different.

I'm also talking to a person who thinks putting dogs in a ring to kill each other while people gamble on their deaths should be legal

When oweo is the only one in agreement with you, just accept its a bad opinion

I mean we gamble on grown human beings beating the ever living frick out of each other. Yes, the have the conscience decision to make for themselves so I understand there is a difference of course, but it’s still somewhat ironic

Being separated at birth to be raised in a cage to be be killed. I mean what is that? Veal raising has been lied about and hyperbolic by animal humane sky screamers for sure, but the animals live a very shitty short existence of a “life”

I'll let the billion plus chickens they're being tortured right now.

Living a shitty life isn't being tortured. Every animal that ends up on the dinner plate lived a shitty life

lsupride has always defended Luke Heimlich on the MSB for some weird reason.

Why do you love to come in here and argue so much? You actually like to argue about people arguing. The ultimate argue porn

Proof that there's no cure for stupid. Why risk a $130 million dollar contract on a $500 dollar dogfight?

I knew that was your fetish. I just didn't know the name.

I'm not into that just yet

I don’t think what Vick did should be a crime.

Me either. If it's his dog then he should be able to do whatever he wants to it. No different than flushing a goldfish down the toilet or killing a snake.

Fortunately, you’re not in the legislature to change the law

While we're at it here, Michael Vick DID lobby to make it a federal felony to bring a minor to a dog or cockfighting event.

So a lot of this thread is straight BS.

Is it much different from cock fighting? Which is also illegal everywhere right ?

It is now illegal, but I don’t think it became illegal until about 2021 or so. To be honest, I was totally surprised it hadn’t been illegal all along.

Michael Vick

He's paid his debt, and turned out a better person on the other side.

He paid off all of his debts/debtors.

That should be the end of the conversation and this thread. The system worked in this case.
