Some parents don't deserve kids. I am ok with kid in yard by themselves, if you are on porch or looking out window 100% of the time and can get to them within a couple seconds. Sometimes kids need to explore. I would let my little ones walk around at parades/festivals but I would be one maybe two steps behind them every step of the way.

The problem is that some parents never wanted to be in the first place. So they don't use common sense and do what you said you do. They just let their kids run out in the street like a couple of wild dogs while they do their thing inside the house.

Knowing the best way for others to raise their children. It's a very liberal idea.
We have no idea of the circumstances here. My main issue with the story is that the parents weren't in range to hear the child screaming when this took place. And even at that, that's assuming the child was able to scream when it took place.
I'm not saying I would ever leave a 4 year old out in a yard by themselves, but how many parents can say they know the exact location of their child every second of every day?

Exactly. It wasn't until I became a parent that I noticed the unbelievable amount of judgement others put on parents. Ironically enough the judgement is usually from people without kids. Sick

why did the dogs, especially those breeds attack her

Terrible.
That would maybe explain the not hearing her part. There goes all blame placed on these 'terrible' parents though.

Lab "mix". Pure bread Labs generally don't go around hunting children.

4 year old playing alone in the front yard?
Parents of the Year nominees
and herein lies the guilt with just about every dog attack....pit bull or otherwise...either the victims parents are careless and/or the dogs owners have no clue how to socialize and understand dog behaviour
and it leads to tragedy

Parental responsibility is not exactly a "liberal" concept either. Dude's a nitwit.
