My battery died, had to pull my truck up to it and jump start it. Have some ruts to fill in my yard

Edit: KingRanch nailed it. I was getting soaked in the middle of the winds and I was stressed. I wasn’t thinking that the electric start IS the on switch and I had it off while trying to use the pull start. I’m up and running now. Apparently just needed time to relax and think first. Thanks guys
It gets the best of us. Good thing is it was a very simple fix and cost only your pride.
Cheap thing in hard times
ETA: because that last bit made me think
It takes a big man and it's hard to admit,
When we know we've been wrong and we'll take lots of shite,
But when dining on crow, all considered, we find
That our pride is a cheap price to pay in hard times

Just remember. It takes a big man to cry and an even bigger man to laugh at that man crying.

It's why Santa is so jolly. Laughing at all these broke dudes who can't afford Christmas presents
