Whatever you do, don't lay on the Serta beds at Comeaux. You'll end up buying one of those too

Comeaux by far was the least expensive furniture store

I just so happen to have a 5 piece bedroom set for sale...
It's a light pine set... Got it from Comeaux's.... Queen bed with two night stands, dresser and entertainment chest combo..
Interested? PM me...
It's about 12 years old, but it's in great shape... Paid about 3500 for it, asking 12....
Was about to put it on CL....

I'm not sure I'm really looking for a light pine. Wanting something darker.

Fwiw, there's an auction house in New Orleans called crescent city auction house. That have auctions every two months and you can get some awesome deals for high quality furniture. Legit real wood stuff made 100+ years ago. They also sell a ton of random shite from people's estates.

You misrepresented what I said.
I said out of the Elmwood stores, Comeaux, LazBoy and Hurwitz-Mintz, Comeaux was the cheapest.
I didn't go to St. Claude Avenue
