Not quite. Rosepine is the best one light town in the state. Not to mention those Cambodians can make some delicious doughnuts. However dressing up means turning your John Deer hat forwards.

If you really want to have fun in Deridder, visit their mall. The Wal-Mart is open 24 hours.

My son's little girlfriend lives in Deridder. We live about 45 minutes away and drove up there and took them out to dinner. Didn't want to take her somewhere in her own town so we went to Leesville (the big city ) Anyway is Wagon Master owned by the same people that own DD's? If so the service there sucked and my "16 oz" porterhouse was maybe 12 and about 1/3" thick.

Double D's used to be wagon master who knows how long ago. I can't remember why it changed but they kept the menu for a while and slowly changed it some if any.

Is there a church for every 20 people that live there? There is a pole with 9 different church signs pointing down the same road right when you get in town. I was like shite.

There are so many churches. It becomes an issue when trying to sell liquor because they have to be so far away.

Used to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for most churches per capita.
