FS1 airing WrestleMania III

Fox Sports 1 aired WrestleMania III on Tuesday night, nearly in its entirety. The event happened over thirty years ago but was just as much fun to watch in the now and the larger-than-life characters popped off the screen. There were no dives or ladders in sight; fans went wild over body slams and clotheslines. And every man who walked through the curtain looked like a professional wrestler and a bonafide star rather than a Game Stop cashier or an Uber driver. I consider this event to be peak WWF and the height of my pro-wrestling fandom. Hulk, Andre, the Macho Man, Piper, the JYD... It never got any better than this.

It just wrapped-up with the Hulkster slaying the Giant. What a magnificent three hours it was... It will re-air in the wee hours of the morning; set your DVR.

Ha! Sorry, guys. Y’all seem so in-tune with all-things-WWE on Monday nights that I figured y’all knew about this.
The aesthetics of Wrestle Mania III are nothing short of amazing. The classic WWF ring with red, white, and blue ropes, Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura on commentary...
I love how the stadium is so well lit when the event begins and slowly grows dark as the event goes on, giving the event an epic feel. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper looks god-like making his way to the ring on foot, wading through some 93,000 plus fans. Such a fantastic show...

and if FS1 really wants me to watch their wrestling replays... put some old WCW shows on there... or AWA... or another promotion that WWE bought out
