Clean the glass. Turn ball valve and light with any lighter. Keep the flame lower than what it was before-your flame was too high causing the spot buildup on the glass. You only need a flame an inch high or less.

Just kidding at a dollar a day it would burn 28, 30, or 31 dollars a month.
