What OP is leaving out is the wife actually divorced his friend and his friend is coping by saying his wife lied to him all these years. Otherwise why would the wife move away and the kids not talk to him

Your friend is a dumbass. How does he go on all these years and not find out she's lying about that?? Maybe I'm just an over caring dad, but I'm very involved when it comes to my children's health. Did the lack of medical bills not piling up give him a clue? Either this isn't true or your friend is retarded
