Did you see how his iv was taped as well? Peds nurses don’t tape IVs like that.

That's the one that has the thread? I gave my condolences, I can imagine what they are going through, but I didn't see details. It happened at an urgent care type place?

Agree!!! Coban is what looks to be wrapped around his arm and IV. IMO, coban is dangerous as it does not give if there is any swelling. Had a home health patient once who called because her leg was really hurting. Went out and made an extra visit. Doctor had wrapped her lower leg with coban. I removed it and her skin was black, it looked mummified. I called the doctor and he wanted me to put the same thing back on her leg, I refused, he said if anything happened it would be my fault. If I had been close enough to retirement I would have given him what was coming to him. Fortunately the patient had no further problems. I hate, hate, hate coban. It should be banned in medical care!!!
