I made a decision to back off, and take myself out of the equation. It kind of dawned on me that even though I believe that she is 100% wrong in her decisions and the way she treats him, keeping him in the middle of that war zone was just tearing us both up. things have been better between he and I, for the most part. I still dont see him very much, and they are still fighting, but at least she can't blame that on me, so even if he chooses not to see, I've done what I can, and if I lose him, then as hard as that will be, so be it, I did what was right in my eyes and everything that I could, and thats all I can really reasonably expect out of myself, and if it's not enough then I'll just have to learn to live with that as the new normal.
