I'm already on my dessert .....fresh pineapple.

I interviewed for another job in my hospital. Hoping to hear if I got it in the next few days.

Would be working 6:30-3 M-F I've worked 3 12s nights for 15 years now. I REALLY hope I got the job.

Would be hard on them due to me shaving my head. We had that scare last years.

I always wear my hair pulled back at work cause the times I did wear it down.....would always end up caring for a kid with lice or scabies or some other nasty parasite

Their trailer got 2 feet of water. I convinced them it was not worth trying to salvage it (considering the worth of a trailer)and they are better off taking the FEMA money and gtfo LA to come start over in AZ by me.

Looks like everything will be settling down at the beginning of next year for you. No more school, parents hopefully settled in, etc. It's been crazy I bet.

Eta: you can keep that nursing job also I don't want all that sickness and parasites around me

Yeah that month after the flood was one of the most stressful months ever for myself and my family. As much as I want to get pregnant.....,I was so relieved that I wasn't pregnant during all that. Stress like that likely would have been rough on a pregnancy(that's the type of stress that can make you miscarry).

My dad is doing much better. He hates feeling homeless right now and is still anxious about how things will come together here in regards to finding them a used trailer and a car as well. But he's calmed down and doesn't call me having panic attacks over the phone anymore. I'm excited at the idea of spending the upcoming holidays with them. I haven't spent an actual holiday with my parents in several years. Work would never give me enough days off to be able to travel to LA to be with them.
