Nothing about brittanys are drowsy.
But I'm not sure if they are fully pure. Brits are wide eyed, full of life.
Those, cute, but full of life doesn't describe the pups.

They are ridiculously smart but manipulative.
Brits aren't great "first command dogs", they have an attitude and do not do anything unless there is something in it for the Brit.
I've owned labs my whole life. While labs are smart, they are first command animals. A Brit needs to think for itself in the field, and boy do they "think for themselves".
They are easy to train, but not easy to respond on first command.
