Bogie's is putting on the event and presenting a check to RRB after the event is over.

The frats at LA Tech used to do this. We had Kappa Sigs come to our boxing gym in West Monroe and get a Boxing 101 intro before their fight night. If some of these frat guys were smart, they would do the same.
You might be surprised. Good coaching is much more accessible now than it was as recently as 5 years ago. We have a lot of very good boxers here in Baton Rouge, no Andre Ward's but there is some good local talent. That said, most of the good ones I've watched were obviously not greek at LSU but I happen to know for a fact there are some fairly decent guys who could pass as a frat boy.
It's nothing like it was in the early 2000's when I was in school. Back then there was little to no worry about getting worked by a fraternity brother, you could more or less smack them around at will. Things are very different now and eating a couple of stiff jabs from a guy with sunglasses on his head at night is a very real possibility.

That's what I am saying, some of those frat guys should hit up some local gyms for just a quick private on how to actually box. It probably would not hurt publicity if gyms like UFC or LA Boxing could get involved in this event. Might help with credibility and help sell a few more tickets. At West Monroe, we also help out the Battle of Badges too.

I'm going to ask around and see if anyone legit is going to get in there and crush some cans. I wouldn't think there would be but you never know when it comes to greek on greek fights.

We had a boxing ring in the top floor attic of our house back in the day. Lots of stupidity after the bars closed. I'm certain it's not there now. (Pussification police Im sure have demolished)
