People who don't shoot, don't realize how hard it is to hit a target at 100 yards. 75 yards is still not a cake.
Not meaning to take anything away from the operators in a dynamic situation but it isn't like it was a 1k meter cold bore shot.

TigerDave was slightly before my time, but I'm familiar with that story.
TigahRag loved these SEAL threads and could spin them on for days.

TigerDave was the youngest U S Navy Captain since WW1. Part of what started the unraveling of his BS story line.

A 100 yard shot on a moving vessel is challenging, from a rest, not so much.

The Y-axis delta on a 100-yard man target shot from a boat in tow in the wake of a much larger ship is significantly less than the Y axis movement of my F-class rifle produced by my heart pumping on the 1000 yd 5" X-ring. It is just a matter of timing the trigger break with the rise and fall, something second nature to any competitive rifle shooter and any sniper. Keep in mind the kill zone on a man target is most critical on the X-axis the Y-axis is much less critical.
