There is a very popular female OBGYN in my area, probably 99% of her patients do not know she is a lesbian, so it is possible your wife and friends could already be seeing a lesbian and not even know it.

I know my wife's doc and her husband very well....although I know Deidre and her ex husband well too..so possibly...but again I have said "knowingly"

As a fully heterosexual male doc who takes care of women and until very recently delivered babies, I can tell you that 98% of what we see, touch, hear and smell is the opposite of sexual stimulation.
The 2% that is healthy and attractive is just treated as another patient. They are seen and examined in the same pattern, with the same technique, using the same instructions often down to the exact words, and in the same efficient and expedient manner as everyone else. It is just another part of the job.
However, I will say we (medical staff) have great appreciation for those who understand and practice basic hygiene.
