Are Active Duty Soldiers still the most immature people on earth? I've been on Posts where these guys are like 10 years behind in dress, music and cars, but think they're the coolest dudes in town.

I think off duty clothing is regulated by the csm

Don't know. Been out for a few years now but soldiers are probably mostly the same as they were 10 or 20 years ago.

Maybe because in a given month y’all serve 2 days while active do 20. So, what 22 days plus your 2 weeks? 36 days a year? Active does at least 240 in a year. In 6 2/3 years you’ve served as much as an active guy in one year?

Guard and reserve guys get stationed close to home...lots of active guys get stationed in god foresaken places for 2 or 4 years at a stretch with no women except dikey chicks around...

So, we’re just jealous.

That's how you meet the women who love a man in uniform.

We used to laugh at the Army Guard and Reservist units that were at the Dona Ana Range in NM (Ft. Bliss) air defense artillery training. I was an observer and they could not hit the big, slow moving drones if their lives depended on it.....of course this was many decades ago.
