I think you are probably full of crap...
But let's pretend you aren't. . Google Dan Carlin hardcore history. Look for the podcast titleD logical insanity (the blitz)
Listen to that shite. The bombs being dropped nightly in Europe and on Tokyo killed far more people in two weeks then the h bombs did. We're talking fire bombing so violent the pilots gagged as they flew over the city from the stink of burned flesh.
Listen to Dan. He isn't an apologist for any side, just an excellent story teller. You might understand some of the nuance better.

Ghengis Khan killed so many people it changed the Earth's climate.
It's true.
He killed so many millions of people that cultivated lands re forested because everyone was dead and were not there to farm any longer. This caused the removal of 700 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere which resulted in a period of global cooling.

"taken the casualties"? It's obvious you are a troll, but you are a true a-hole. Why should hundreds of thousands to millions more people die?
Taken the casualties...holy shite

Ghengis khan did so much raping that one in every five hundred Asians share his DNA. He literally did enough boning that over a billion people are descended from him.

Would the pictures be easier to swallow if it were from the 2000 tons of incendiaries or many more tons of conventional explosives dropped all over the country and more spread out in war instead of just those from two atomic bombs confined to two geographic areas?
War is evil and horrific. That's why we try hard to avoid it at all costs. TV now tries to make it clean and sanitary like a video game, and it isn't.

Exactly, the majority of the Japanese Empire was brainwashed. They were prepared to fight to the last man. Look up Saipan. Thousands of Japanese civilians jumped to their deaths rather than submit to the US army because they were told they would go to Heaven if they committed suicide and that Americans were savages who would rape and torture them etc.

The best option that did not involve nuclear weapon detonation on civilians.
By all means, the better option would have been a land invasion of Japan that would have resulted in well over a million deaths. As long as conventional weapons are used, the fact that 5 times as more people would have died is acceptable. Great logic dipshit.
