Just dropped mine off at the shop for two recalls, transmission problems, and oil burning. Only has 2100mi. Said it would be at least a week before they could get to it

Is your F150 a 2019 or 2018? 5.0L?

5.0 with the 10 speed has been an awful combination for Ford.

I really don't think Toyota ever really figured out that unintended acceleration problem. The bug is still buried somewhere deep in their firmware code.

A guy named Csaba Csere wrote a pretty angry column about it several years ago. Csaba lost his job at C&D within months if not weeks, and all traces of that column have disappeared from the Web.

Mine is over 3 years old now, and so far, other than an issue the first week I had it, it's been a good truck. But I went with just the XLT trim, so it's not that fancy inside, so less to go wrong.
Was a lot cheaper than a comparable Tundra when I bought it.
But I do worry about long term reliability, but so far so good.

I really like the F-150 and Rams and sometimes I regret not buying one. But it seems like I’m always reading about them having problems.

I agree the XLT is the way to go. Less needless crap to break. And there’s no way I’d want a sunroof after hearing of all those problems they have.
