If a girl cares more about the wedding or ring than the relationship, good luck. I don't have any respect for women who choose to cost their parents or fiancé a ton of money for a ridiculous party. Nobody cares about the details anyway--give your guests music, food and booze, and if you have fun friends, everyone will have a blast.
