And if you control them you can take their money, offer more freebies to your voters and make more people come to your side via bribing etc.

You do realize the earth has been around for longer than 1000 years. So your graph is bullshite.

I think that it's good to make the earth warmer. Make northern land more fertile and give us longer growing seasons.

We can stop world hunger!

I would say that graph is pretty telling actually. Has there been another time in history when the temperature rose so rapidly?

Honestly deep down, this like most arguments is about religion.

There's absolutely zero way to prove without a doubt it has anything to do with human interference based on historical data however.

Ever heard of ice core samples?

I have. This isn't a foolproof methodology by any means. I personally don't know if we will ever know, since climate is infinitely complex, and not something we can just model. Unfortunately, it seems that the science has essentially been hijacked by confirmation bias, both in the data accumulation used to measure/quantify warming, and in terms of the supposed consequences.

Seriously, climate change has happened since the beginning of time, there is nothing to believe in/not believe in.

Your link makes no sense. The hockey stick graph uses ice core, tree ring, and coral growth to plot temperatures. I've seen this graph published before which is why I used it. Your link provides no references.

And yes I realize that there have been cyclical climate changes for billions of years.

Even far right political groups in other countries "believe" in climate change. Only in 'Merica do we not let silly things like facts and science and cloud our "Godly" knowledge
