see, the problem i have is that for us smokeless tobacco users, there's no conversion to know how to taper down when using nicotine replacement products....

and frick Chantix... tried it, and i always felt like i had a butcher's knife sticking squarely in the middle of the bottom of my ribs...

i'd love to quit dipping, and have tried cold turkey, lozenges, patches, gums, you name it.... at this point, i'm just like frick, i'm going down one way or the other, why not enjoy it on the way down...

I know man, I dipped for 3 years before I started smoking. I even went back to dipping with intentions of quitting smoking Thought it would break my habit of cigarettes and coffee. The video and his book talks about dipping also. Many references with research of people quitting dipping by reading his book. As far as going down and why not enjoy it, believe me, I said same thing for years.

ETA: I'm not one of those annoying former smokers, or I hope not. I remember those were the one's that aggravated me the most, always hounding me. I do know, deep down, every tobacco user, especially one's who have been doing it for awhile and fully addicted, wants to quit. I lied to myself and others for years about it. I never tell people they need to quit in real life, b/c I know that doesn't help them. This video is just something that seemed to work for some people I know, so I just wanted to post it for others to see and maybe it helps somebody.

I'm the same way...being out really brings out cravings. That and driving to and from work where I would smoke to give me something to do. But I'm 3.5 weeks in and still going strong. A pack a day to actually being able to breathe when I wake up in the morning is bliss
