Does anyone know if permits are required (LA) to operate fog machines indoors?

I would contact the venue. They usually have the say-so of what can be used in their facility. Pretty sure there is not state permit but would be based on the city ordinance.

Last year my little fog machine outside my front door set off all the smoke alarms in my house. So there’s that to consider.
