FNWT: Fallout from the Elimination Chamber 3/7/2025

WWE returns to Philly to kickoff the sprint to Mania. They're headed to Europe in the coming month so expect any verbal confrontations to be the foundations of either European or Mania matches. The obvious one that should get a build starting tonight is KO-Orton.
WWE has started another channel for it's video library. They have uploaded a sizable number of WCW videos. Flair-Steamboat from 1989's Chi-Town Rumble might be my favorite. They have also announced a weekend of tapings at a former home of the Thunderdome in Tampa. LFG has been FNWT for a 2nd season but Mickie James will not be returning. Michelle McCool will be joining her husband as a coach.
And finally, the women's match at Mania is now a Triple Threat after Bianca's blatant interference Monday night. She'll have to remind us soon that Mami is always on top.

quote:In other news, the guy responsible for Miss Elizabeth's death was announced as the newest HOF inductee today. Congratulations go out to the couple fka Riddick Moss and Emma on the birth of their first child.
WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to appear
Chelsea Green (c) vs. Michin for the WWE Women's United States Championship in a Street Fight
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. LA Knight for the WWE Men's United States Championship
Braun Strowman vs Solo Sikoa
Jimmy Uso vs Drew McIntyre

I thought this was going to be about the SC execution

The WWE Vault youtube channel is great. I'm sure I'll be spending plenty of time on the WCW channel.
I was looking at prices for this year's WM and the top section is $450 for a two night ticket. Mid stadium, which is about where I sat for 30 and 34 is $1000. I think next year in NOLA is gonna be a hard pass for me at those prices.

Well there is always a premium for anything in Vegas... that's why they give you cheap ways to get there and stay there. The Royal Rumble tickets this year were right about what I would pay per night for Mania. TKO is all about the media rights. They don't need house shows. Cornette has even pointed out how the business has completely flipped. I think the prices are only going to get higher as they price the middle class out. Just look at UFC over the past 10 years.

I hate so much how they have booked Drew lately. Here comes McIntyre vs Priest at WrestleMania and the crowd goes mild

WWE announced:
70K at Lucas Oil
38K at a baseball stadium
Supposedly both are gate records.

That rapper needs a severe beating. Why even involve him??? The rocks bodyguard???

quote:Agreed. He lost everything from Covid. He was peaking as it hit. By the time they were back on the road he had cooled way down as tBloodline was just starting to get hot. Then Cody comes in followed by Punk.

I do wonder if this is Paul trying to get him back to the peak. His act is stale and right now he's as flat as he was near the end of the 3MB days.

Drew was complaining about his booking after the Rumble because he was scheduled for a "nothing match" with Damian Priest according to someone in WWE creative. It looked they were changing to a match with LA Knight but now its probably gonna be Priest again.

I actually agree with Cornette. Damien would probably be best off going to NXT and being rebooted. Priest-McIntyre screams "piss break".

Piper makes Nia look svelte.

She actually looks really rough.

She almost looks like a meth head from the next down and a plastic action figure from the neck up.
