My parents came to regret introducing me to hot pepper sauce and hot peppers. I developed quite the fondness for spicy foods making my cooking inedible for them at times

My neighbor's dad was a WW2 vet and he would punish them by putting hot sauce in their mouths.

soap is fine I guess, tabasco just seems to get the point across a little better ( I find)
according to ralphie, putting soap in your mouth could lead to blindness
