No, they just need to give you and the other slow-driving POS's a $500 fine and court-ordered defensive driving class for checking your Twitter feeds while driving. Double if you are caught with ear buds in.

Try Philadelphia. Only place I've driven were the drivers are worse than Birmingham. I installed front and rear dash cameras because of these fricks.

While this is completely true, it isn't sweeping enough in it's condemnation of Texas drivers. Texas drivers engage in all forms of the worst assholery on LA interstates. Not just the common left lane riders but every other form of over aggressive and incompetent driving as well. Trust me I curse the incompetence of LA drivers I encounter everyday in the Baton Rouge area, which my God there is an epidemic, but through my experience on the interstates across south LA, the a-hole drivers I encounter have Texas plates wayyyyyy out of proportion to their numbers.

My buddy put me on to this many, many years ago and I called bullshite on him when he first mentioned it. He told me that whenever I was driving and some car was acting like an idiot, start taking notice of the license plate. Just try it. Lo and behold, that son of a bitch was right. It's really unbelievable.
