A solid compromise? Republicans sure are willing to give up a lot of ground to special interests and call it "solid".

Like we're just gonna let Democrats convert 30% of our kids into trannies instead of 40%. What a solid compromise!

You fools should stop letting dealerships dictate who is legally allowed to sell cars. Full stop.

Yes, protecting locally owned businesses. But seriously, you are trying to equate protecting a less-than ideal, but well-established and functional business model with compromising to allow changing the biology of children. I mean, I have seen some far reaches on this board, but this might be a record!

I don't car for car dealerships, but they are a necessary evil. You can go build your own vehicle on Ford.com right now.

So Republicans are against freedom and are for screwing people over because “protecting” middle man businesses is more important? Got it.

Ah yes. A constitutional right. Why not force dealerships for many other products as well?

Republicans are a joke and issues like this expose you.

He is being brought by the dealers......... The dealer model screws the consumer. Time to open the market and let manufacturers sell direct to consumer.

Don’t care for the law but OP is misleading/lying sac:

However, any person or entity that doesn't already have independent dealerships can sell cars directly, according to the law. That includes electric vehicle makers such as Rivian, Polestar, Lucid and Tesla.
