I am needing a few estimates for my home that was damaged in the flood. I have called all the contractors I was recommended and only got one so far. Do any of you have any contacts that I can try?

<---- @gmail if you would like.

When the bids on here start rolling in at Tree Fiddy, hold out for a better deal.

I wish you the best. So many people affected.

If you are in the Central area, check with Pat's Home Center. They had a small crew that would come measure and survey to give free estimates. I'm sure they know contractors.

Bump. I am also looking for recommendations. We had a couple of contractors come look at our home, but one has since said they are not interested in taking a job in BR (thanks for telling me now...) and the other seems to be getting less reliable by the hour. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did they say why? From what I've been hearing, Central and Livingston Parish seem to be much bigger pains in the arse for getting permitting, etc.
