Such a sad ordeal. Flint was once a bustling automobile manufacturing town. Jobs were plentiful and the city was doing very well. One by one, factories close and it created the travesty the city is currently in. Factories were torn down and debris left everywhere. Workers couldn't find jobs and moved out. Houses are boarded up and abandoned. Debris, rubble, and graffiti are everywhere. Crime, homelessness, drugs, and general lawlessness are rampant. Homes can be purchased for well under $50,000.

Wow, unions...
UAW Local 599 (now with only about 500 active members) is located next to the empty lot that once housed Buick City in Flint. I don't even think UAW owns the building anymore.
