You m’fers are vv miserable fricks that are complaining. New airport is excellent. There are a ton of horrible airports out there, MSY is def not one of them.

When I worked in Denver it had similar problems like this. Airlines don't care about paying baggage handlers decent money because they would rather a higher turnover rate to keep salaries lower.

I’ve been through every major airport in this country,South, Central, American, Panama, Puerto Ricio, Caribbean

The new MSY is top 5

They don’t typically put airports in great neighborhoods.

It’s wildly inefficient for a non-hub airport. Up there with PIT.

The old one was better. Better parking. Better terminal layout. Wayyyy faster to get in and out of. The new one sucks.

I wouldn’t rank MSY as a “major” domestic airport, but I’d agree that when compared to those of a similar size as far as enplaned passengers, e.g Raleigh/Durham, Pitt, Sacramento, Kansas City, Oakland, the new airport is definitely way better and it’s not even close.

No way. From car through security in under 10 minutes at the new one. And once in you have a decent lounge and lots more room.

I agree, the new terminal is not laid out for people who can't think their way out a paper bag.

It would have been 3 at the old one. Not to mention the cluster frick of actually getting yourself to the parking garage.

I fly alot. The new one fricking sucks compared to the old one. I only fly out of MSY if it's my only direct option now. Otherwise, I'm going to BTR.

It was the same time at the old terminal vs the new terminal. In the door, down the escalator, done.

New terminal is just way better once past security. Wider so I don't have to touch anyone. More light so it doesn't feel like the 70's. Better food options if for some reason you forgot you were hungry before you left the house.

I like the BR airport. I almost got tossed by security for taking a pill in the TSA line, but other than that I never had a problem.

People in BR seem like they have to fly out of MSY for some reason.

Oblivious to what? I live in BR, why would I Uber to MSY?

My experiences at the new MSY are worse than the old one.

What am I oblivious to?
