I was happy to see all the kids and teenagers out. They were all enjoying themselves. Had drinks for adults, full sized candy for teens, and tons of stuff for the little ones.

One day - much sooner than you think - you’re adorable little is going to be a teenager and you’re going to wish he or she was still trick or treating with friends in the neighborhood instead of driving around town or playing video games.
I actively encourage teens to trick or trick at our house by setting up a full animated creepy carnival and giving them full sized candy bars. So many people forget about doing things for teens and gear everything towards little kids.

I was 18 years old last time I went Trick or Treatin. We had a party later that night and had an hour to kill. Was 4 of us, and we DGAF.

We noticed a lot more older kids than usual, but almost all of them were in costume, polite, and from differing demographics. I have no issue with it.
Worse things they could be doing -- and probably did after 8 pm.
