My cat has been sneezing a lot and i was thinking yesterday that i hope it’s not bird flu. I read an article that said household pets can catch it if they mess with sick or dead birds outside.

My husband had this years ago, when it last happened. ( 2011 or so? ). He was very sick, but he did not go to the hospital. I cared for him with no flu shot and did not get sick.

What hospital was the patient at and what city is the patient is from? Fox said it was Southwestern Louisiana.
