Both of them look like textile mills from the 1800s.

It’s going to look so amazing once Middleton is gone. I will 100% make a trip back to campus to see the “quad” in its original, intended form. The library should have never been built there. Even 20 years ago I remember my professors calling Middleton an architectural disaster and wishing it would burn down. That’s before it fell into disrepair.

Once they tear it down and turn it into a green space or plaza type area, they need to put the Joe Burrow statue square in the middle of it.

btw, y'all.... the new library has been planned for this location since the master plan was developed. It's supposed to provide an anchor linking the old quad with a new south quad that is going to eventually replace the current physical plant shops.
