That's an awesome picture.

At first glance I didn't even realize there were people in there for scale.

That kind of shite just seems so unbelievable.

Here is another incredible picture:

ETA: Apparently it took 32 days and 126 pictures. Jesus Christ.

A branch load of falling snow would be a scary sumbitch

Why does the dude at the top look larger than the one on the bottom?

Supposedly has over 2 billion needles on the tree, and it adds more than 1 cubic feet of wood per year, making it one of the fastest growing trees on the planet.

That's what I'm wondering. He looks like he is two or three times bigger than the guy on the ground. Seems as though the pictures taken of the bottom of the tree were taken farther away than the ones of the top.

I was fortunate to go to Sequoia Natl back in 2013. If you have never seen these tree's in person it's stunning how big they are and you realize how small you are

President is not the largest but is the oldest. Standing by it was awe inspiring

Not impressed.

Hyperion is taller (by 132 ft)

El Árbol del Tule is wider (by 19 ft)

General Sherman is larger by volume (by 7360 cubic ft)

I'd say cut it down, but this is the land of participation trophies...

Might just be the picture in the OP. This one seems a littler more to scale...

ETA: Never mind, looks the same. Maybe it is the snow?

They took thousands of photos and only chose the best 126 out of those.
