According to their Wiki page they're open March/April until November. When we went in 2011 the owner of the place we stayed said something like 60% of businesses in town operated on a similar schedule and would close during winter, himself included. That town/area makes an absolute killing during the summer.
As for the actual rally, pretty overrated but the riding in the area is worth the trip.

Yep it's not near as fun as the 1st time I went 25 years ago but the riding is killer.

Completely possible. Alot of them go from rally to rally just to sell drinks and make an absolute killing in tips.

If I'd ever go back it would be the week before the rally or after. That way you avoid all the pretend hardasses and tomfrickery. All those rallies are the same thing, cheap T shirts, high price beer, and ugly women.

Bingo. See my post right above yours. Although, I will admit that during the rally there are plenty of really good looking women around.....
.... Course there's also plenty of ragged out mammas as well.

March 31st of next year I'm done. I just keep telling myself that, I would have just said frick it if I hadn't cleaned up my act and just we back and done it flat. Oh well it isn't like I don't deserve what I got.

True. I've got a longtime friend who just went back in the pen and is learning that lesson the hard way. Bad thing is he'd just finished a 10 yr stint and didn't even make it a full year before getting his arse in a sling and ending up right back in again.
