Yep, my go-to when a friend of mine sends some fresh fish my way a few times a year. The white trout will sometimes have worms in them and I'll just take a pair of tweezers and remove them.

What she don't know------won't hurt me.....

The good news are the white worms in trout, either white or speckled, seem to disappear after frying the filets. I know they are there, but just harder to see after cooked. I still remove them as much as possible.

Did he push back because you ordered a dozen, ate 11 and complained about the one left in the tray????

I ask this because this is how it generally goes when people complain about the food for one reason or another. Damn near clean the plate and then bitch trying to get comped a meal.

If so, I'd push back too.
