C'mon man. Reread the OP.

My company doesn't buy me a car but they give me a pretty good allowance. I'm eyeing the Chevy SS when my current ride gives out.

The SS is really a sweet car. 4 door muscle cars are a rare breed. If I wanted to push my budget, the Charger Scat Pack was my choice. Wife was categorically opposed to the Dodge products.

Dude, you get that and we'll drive each others' cars, if you want.

I like the Charger as well but I'm a sucker for the 6 speed and mag ride in the SS. One of my co-workers has Charger Scat Pack and it's definitely a sweet ride.

Man, lots of people are.
Memories of shitty build quality last a long time.

The charger scat pack is just so much more car than the Chevy SS. The SS only marketing factor is the 6 speed manual option. The charger is a much better buy at a cheaper price.

6.2 is a sweet motor, bruh.

Btw, I did opt for the short throw manual.

Really depends on how you are going to use it. The Charger is a great cruiser but not as nimble as the SS. I like to have fun in the curvy stuff.

I'm thinking about trading in the suburban for the Ford transit wagon... Need something with more room and like that better than the econoline and Chevy express...

Hell yeah! I'd love a go in that F-type. I'm in Mandeville often.
