1) for cold or rainy
2) for cool or as a layer for really cold
3) if I'm feeling like dressing it up a little.

I've got a few quarter zips and 3 button RL sweaters, but those are the jackets I'll rock this winter

There is nothing more tacky when a man tries to dress up a fleece jacket. Fleece are meant to be worn in a casual laid back environment.

I've got a fleece I wear all year. Only time I wear anything different is if it's really cold and the wind is blowing. Something I got at Costco for $40 bucks in 2009.
