I would like to see basketball played with a mix of men and women. Only one rule regarding sex: Teams cannot have more than three players of one sex at a time playing.

Of course this would mean that three men and two women would be playing most of the time but if one team was blowing out the other one, they could put in a third woman and take out one of the male players to underscore the rout. Imagine the melts by the losing teams and their fans.

Ability gap is way too large. Drunk frat Bros can destroy all American women.

We had woman teacher in middle School 1 year removed from WNBA. We were good but not great basketball suburban area. Occasional D1 player maybe every 5-10 years.

She played with us one morning. We destroyed her as 8th graders.
Have played against active WNBA players. Games up to 15 they score 1 -3 points or so.

Ability gap just way too large.

Lol at the fools in this thread “he’s a good dancer”

Did I like watching NFL cheerleaders dancing back in they day based on their ability to dance? Sorry, I wasn’t interested watching fricking Swan Lake.

I think the nfl died right around the time Brett Farve retired, I think he was the last of the Mohicans.

So, likely he was better than anyone else who tried out

So now the OT is mad at people who get jobs based on their skillset and not their sex/gender?

What a turn of events

I get the irony you're implying, but this is assuming the qualifications to be a Saintsation are just dancing ability.

Most people assume it is twofold: being a hot chick AND a good dancer

But good for this guy, whatever floats his boat.

If a woman could beat Lebron James 1 on 1, that bitch needs to be signed by an NBA team immediately.

Its qualification, not gender.

I just think most people assume a qualification for being an NFL dancer is "hot chick".

Intramural coed basketball, soccer, and softball is pretty common. Here's an article about some of the rule modifications for basketball LINK

Well most of its audience is straight men so I can understand why.

Well you’re assuming nfl dance teams are meant to bring together all the worlds finest dancers. Be real here. They’re hot chicks, they’re cheerleaders, and they also dance. Men will always be the best dancers. Do you really want all-male dance teams?

I'm assuming the opposite actually...you've confused me.

I am saying most people assume that a qualification is "hot chick", and I am one of those people.

Howevever, good for this guy. I don't watch the dancers anyway.

Not so sure about that. Other than WYHI it threads, I rarely hear guys say anything about sports dance teams in general.

This is actually a good point.

In fact, my wife always watches the dancers at football games and comments on them during timeouts/half time.

So percentage-wise, what is the chance this is all just an act and this guy is actually nailing 3/4 of the Saintsations, fooling us all- and therefore being the envy of us all?

None of this is remotely true.

Seriously.

Average height of a WNBA player is 6 feet tall.

Assuming he didn't make everything up, I bet that lady was not only a better basketball player than 8th graders, but she was bigger, taller, and stronger.

Now, HS juniors and seniors who have grown up, I could see that.
