Its well known that he didn't think he shot anyone. The police even said that he was completely surprised that he hit someone.

Even so, didn't this happen in a neighborhood? Regardless if he thinks he hit someone or not, why didn't he call the cops. It makes him look like he was hiding something by not calling the cops. Or he knew he was in the wrong by firing the shots.
Seems like a rational person would say "I better call the cops. I just fired a gun in my neighborhood. If I don't call the cops, surely one of my neighbors will. I better get in front of this before the cops end up knocking on my door."

I think it's been previously established that Seth is a low wattage bulb. He's certainly no criminal mastermind. This guy was too dumb (or careless) to even begin to concoct a semi-plausible explanation for why he felt compelled to start shooting his gun that night.

4.0 student a UL !
Not that it means anything..... just a kid (18) who was mad because he worked a full tome job and went to school full time and got ticked because people kept breaking into his truck, his Moms car and his sisters car. (all brought out in trial)

You gonna write to him while he's in prison?

Any previous police reports to back this up?

So? Like that's hard.

So, in the year or two since he shot 3 kids, killing one, and was later arrested for selling drugs, Seth has remained in school full time, worked full time and maintained a 4.0? If true, I'm impressed. I'm also impressed with how well Adderall must work.
Was there any evidence presented that indicated any, or all, of the three kids were responsible for the prior car break-ins?

why didn't he call the cops.
His sister called right away and reported the attempted burglary. Cop didn't bother showing up.
What's more wierd is both living kids in the truck called their moms. And NONE of them, either boy, or moms/family called 911 knowing Austin was hit. The hospital wasn't expecting him! Can't get more bizarre than that.

All in the court transcripts in anyone in interested. Public record.
And evidence was suppressed about the other 3 kids - so who knows.
I can tell you the two who testified were not believable

Yes on the police reports for the other car break ins at Seth house, and other break ins in the neighborhood.

Are car burglaries epidemic in this particular neighborhood or were the Fontenot family targeted?
I've got a friend who's truck was burglarized twice in Beau Chene, but the dumbfrick was leaving laptops on the seat with the doors unlocked. It was very likely neighborhood teens, but he didn't feel it was necessary to run out of his house shooting every time he saw a vehicle slowly drive by.
Adult solution: Remove valuables. Lock doors. (No funerals or manslaughter convictions necessary.)

And why did the kids who were shot not call the cops or dial 911 ???

Because when you panic, logical reasoning goes out the window first.
Parents probably rushed straight to the hospital.
In that situation, getting to an ER is top priority.
Seth went to bed.

They probably figured it was better/faster to just drive themselves to Lourdes than to call 911 and wait 5 minutes for an ambulance to arrive.
Sadly, it sounds like Austin didn't have a chance either way.

Every time someone has asked you a direct question about this, you deflect. You've admitted to being in the courtroom for the whole trial, but refuse to actually say anything of worth on the subject. You keep bring up the fact that the kids didn't dial 911, why don't you give direct answers to direct questions?
Posted on 4/10/15 at 3:27 pm to LILLY100
I have no idea what explanation the two survivors offered in their testimony as to why they didn't call 911. Surely, Fontenot's defense team must have asked. You were in the courtroom for every day of the trial. Why don't you tell us their explanation?

He shot from like ten feet away three times. It's well known that he didn't think he hit someone lol
