Good lord, man. Sorry you have had to deal with all of that.
Keep fighting though!

Where did you receive treatment in 2010? And, did you have any other type of treatment besides chemo the first time?

Congrats man, that's awesome. My grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 1986. Doctor told my dad to enjoy Christmas that year because it would be her last. She went on to live another 28 years.

Thank you.
I also believe that a positive attitude also helps to a degree. My attitude was that it was not a death sentence no matter what statistics showed. The statistics don't know "me." I approached it as yet another challenge in my life that I would overcome. Another chapter in my life book that just had to be read so I could move on to the next chapter of life. My doctor said I was unique because my attitude was more like that of someone who was told they had the flu....not late stage Cancer. Friends and family would ask how I could remain so positive and never show any indication of fear. I never really knew how to answer. I had a peace born of a very strong faith in the eternal value my Lord and Saviour put on me. I was in a win win situation. But even with that, I always thought "nah, I am not going out now and definitely not like this." I had a "bring it on and let's deal with it and put it behind us" mindset.
I think a little cockiness in approaching the disease can go along ways. It gets ones mind in harmony with ones body for the fight.

You should pray about it and give thanks.

My first bout was treated at NW GA Oncology. I had chemo only that consisted of 8 inpatient infusions in 3 week intervals. It was called R/CHOP treatment and it took about 8-9 hours every infusion.
