Likely some type of severance pay in exchange for his resignation.

No way they'll actually do the announcement on a Friday night, right? Preannouncement, perhaps, but do the announcement on Sunday morning at like 7:30 AM.

I'm thinking it's going to be Tuesday and they are hoping the thanksgiving holiday will distract and diffuse the anger. (misplaced as I think it is)

Pfffttt ... There's no bad "bad part" in Arky. ... Nah, it was actually a pretty good part growing up.

I don't think it matters when they announce it. shite is going to get real regardless of the outcome. Too many outside agitators for this to end well.

Eta: and they said that they were giving 48 hours notice to police before they make the announcement. I'm wondering if media is included in the 48 hour warning?

I don't understand. Isn't a forgone conclusion that he won't be charged. Are the protesters just waiting for the spark on purpose?

I grew up in the arklamiss too (but the good part south of the stateline) and loved it. Lots of freedom, very little law enforcement presents, easy access to alcohol and southern gals.

I think shite is going to get real regardless. This isn't really about Michael Brown anymore, in my opinion.

These outside agitators just want to start shite.

They're got dam trouble-makers. If it's not this excuse to break the law it'll be another one. It's what they do.

Saw earlier that the local schools were closing Monday and Tuesday. So, Monday maybe?

I really wish they'd wait until Black Friday so I can get maximum internet jollies out of it. Being disaffected is so awesome.

Well, I grew up south of the state line as well. It was home away from home. many, many fun times. ... And you're so right about the alcohol.

One of the kids' mom on my little league team was wearing her Arky gear Monday night. I benched her kid.
