Only in America do we arrest people for working.
You mean the ones who didn’t enforce the border, who gave out fake temporary protections including for climate issues to allow them to stay longer, and who keep trying to protect the illegals already here?
There is little point in having an immigration policy or foreigners following any type of temp worker reform of our immigration policies when walking across the border was quick and easy.
Dem proof enforcement of the border and also for enforcement of immigration laws internally would help push reform of temp & guest worker policies to have an adaptable policy based on current needs in our country with those fully vetted worker having zero path to citizenship under this particular program (can apply for that separately) and are still subject to their country and not under the complete jurisdiction of the US. They work, and they leave. If they follow rules and laws they can return. If they can’t follow rules or break the law they go home. The temp/guest workers (and illegals) should also not be able to have kids here who automatically become citizens, so either Supremes go back to original complete jurisdiction intent or an amendment must happen.
Regardless we all know they weren’t actually arrested for working.

Meanwhile, young blacks and whites have been priced out of the construction industry due to the wage theft of the illegals.
Young American men will naturally have to pass an FBI fingerprint background check for any employment opportunity. Dreamers with eyelid and neck tattoos have any sort of background check automatically waived. The double standard is real.

We shouldn’t be relying on illegal labor.
If hispanics didn't do what they do, like roofing, carpentry, landscaping, painting and tree work, who the hell is gonna do it? Lazy assed 20 and 30 somethings?

give them a chance to assimilate
Have you noticed that many of those who have been in this country for 20+ years still don't speak English?
