I'm not in a position to dispute what any of you cats are saying, but you understand that I am incapable of believing what y'all are telling me - these 2 killed 14 people, 48 hours ago, and now reporters are destroying the crime scene and rifling through evidence.

Won't be enough. That CANNOT be happening. If television is to be believed, her driver's license and passport would be in a crime lab, getting tested for prints, DNA, etc.
The computer would be disassembled by the FBI. There is NO situation wherein a crime scene of this profile would be open to the public to just rifle through and destroy evidence.
To reiterate - I'm incapable of believing this. IF this is true, then the conspiracy theorists are all correct and we rational people are all wrong - the authorities have to be in on this, then.
There is no assumption of incompetence to explain this - this isn't Mayberry, it's San fricking Bernadino.
