yeah it's sig 556 but it was sold to me advertised as being able to handle both.

If the receiver is stamped "5.56" or "5.56/.223" it can fire both rounds with no problems.

.223 CAN fire 5.56 rounds and not kill you or destroy your rifle. The most common problems will be primer blowback and/or failure of the casing to eject because it expands too much.

That's a new one. You don't actually want to light the constitution on fire.....you just "think differently".

I have no idea who I'd vote for in upcoming election but I certainly am not clambering to vote for Hillary. No way in hell i would vote for Trump. Cruz is too radical for me.

swung too far to the right, it's hurting them nationally and it makes me less likely to vote for them in future. But in past I have mainly voted Republican.

Just admit you've never voted Republican. There are almost no true "conservatives" in the Republican Party. Calling them too far to the right is laughable. Most Republicans are big government limousine liberals. The Bush family is a prime example of that. Would a conservative sign off on a boondoggle like the prescription benefit (MMA)???

Keep going... further in the thread someone points out that every one of those weapon pictures is from Call of Duty or some other video game.

there are some serious decisions made for political reasons that are typically teh backbone for this claim

Wickard v. Filburn is THE case that i'd imagine fosters this attitude

I somewhat agree. They are far too right wing socially for me but also hypocritically increase spending and size of govt similarly to Democrats.

"mass shooting" is the new "autism"

you're going to get more when you expand the definition to include more behavior

It is tricky when there are widely different definitions being used for the same term.

Yeah, pretty soon, it'll be defined as merely pointing a gun, real or fake, at multiple people with the intent to cause fear and/or harm. Also, laser tag facilities will be a hotbed of FBI research.

So they were openly showcasing their threat? As I said, these guys are not advanced at all in their thinking. If they were no one would have noticed a thing prior

It does show that with intervention this coulda been sniffed out pretty routinely if we will profile the potential threats and report and follow up
