Ahh.. the Vertibird. You could pick up the stretcher, moon capsule and caution sign and set them down somewhere else. If I remember correctly, though, the propeller hurt like a mother if it hit you. Or if you stuck your finger in it.

I don't know what the hell my parents were thinking when they allowed santa claus to give my brother and I a chemistry set for christmas. It didn't take long at all for us to burn and melt the carpet in our bedroom.

I loved that toy. Anything airplanes back then. Hell, still love them. Had a blast with those things!

It flew on a string in a wide circle around you. Had an interesting recoil start (that hurt like hell if you did it wrong or didn't pull your hand away fast enough). Mine was last seen 40 years ago heading for orbit...removed the string and let her fly!
