Rosedown. Pretty amazing everything including furniture is just as it was when lived in. The kids room is a little creepy tho.

Since someone listed Longwood, Natchez is close enough.

Dunleith for me. It's easily accessible and majestic at night when all lit up for a wedding/event.

There is a really awesome one in my home town of St.Martinville
Can't find a picture of the house, but it's at the end of a 1-2 mile pine tree alley
Here is the alley...

That's Banker plantation. I'm related to the people living there.

My favorite is the Rienzi Plantation in Thibodaux.

Nottoway is pretty cool.

The room upstairs with the bent wood is pretty awesome.

All off them should be bulldozed. Symbols of hate, racism and white supremacy.

I've always thought San Francisco Plantation was interesting looking:

Is Langois gone?

Latill's Landing is awesome.

The smoked ribeye at Nottoway is good too.

I loved the playhouse built on the grounds there. I was so upset when it burned down.

I've stayed in the cottages on the grounds of Oak Alley a number of times. It's fun to walk the grounds at night and you can catch a wedding on the front porch from time to time. I took my nieces once when they were about in first grade and told them they had to hide in the bushes to watch the wedding. Hilarious. They thought they were really pulling something off.

I enjoy Laura Plantation. Has a neat story.

I like staying on the grounds of Butler-Greenwood in St. F. I read the book Weep for the Living by the owner, Anne Butler, in which she recounts her attempted murder by her then husband, former Angola Warden Murray Henderson in the sunroom of the house. Very interesting story and she will talk to you about it if you ask.

Madewood looks like LSU's KA house.

I think the KA house is actually supposed to be based on Robert E. Lee's house:
