Authorities responding to fatal shooting near Staring Lane

BATON ROUGE- Authorities are responding to a fatal shooting near Staring Lane.
The incident was reported around 9 p.m. Sunday night at 1447 Clear Lake Avenue. As of now, we know at least one person was killed in the incident but details are minimal at the time.
This is a developing story.

I wonder who is buying those 220k+ homes next to the Staring Motel. I don't think that fence they put up would convince me.

Staring Motel is the least of their worries IMO. The Town South/Ryder/Clear Lake/Lake Calais apartments are a much bigger issue to that area.

I have never turned right off of Staring by that gas station but the folks I see coming from and going into that area...yikes.

I live not too far from some shite areas in BR but I definitely wouldn't be good with an 8 ft privacy fence between me and Staring Motel.

Dude that Popeye's is sketchy. Last time I went in was 2014 or so and the black transgender crew was in full force. And a few posses came through for that 3 pc. meal.

Well, the more public housing you built, the more violence. You can put high ceilings and an island kitchen in the apartment, but that ain't stopping stupidity.
